In case you don't know about my No More Debt Sale, for the last year I have been on a tight budget paying off debt. We are on track to have all of our debt paid off in Feburary. We have been using Dave Ramsey's plan, you should really check him out. In honor of this past year I want to start something new on my etsy shop. I want everyone to be able to own an original piece of art even if they are in the process of reducing their debt. I will list at least one piece of artwork for $20 or less (plus shipping) per month.
New on my No More Debt Sale is a Nude Figure Drawing. Its available for $2 plus shipping on Etsy.
It comes matted to fit in an 8x10 frame.

Graham Cinema Bathroom Muh ha ha ha ha
Let me just say that I love our $2 theater! We went and saw Inception on Friday....it was awesome! It was our second time and I can't wait to see it again. Every time that I go the $2 theater I always have to take a trip to the bathroom. I guess I should tell you that it is an old building with paint peeling paint and ceiling fans....I mean, when have you ever seen ceiling fans in a theater? Back to the bathroom, I have to take a trip to the bathroom because it makes me feel like I am a starlet about to meet a bloody death. Weird I know but so much fun! Its tiny and dark and usually not very busy. Friday night was the first time that I had been in the bathroom with someone else in it which kinda distracted from the bloody ambiance but I guess I can't expect to have the bathroom to myself every time. I took my scared photo while I was in there this time.....I'm not sure why scared means biting my finger but apparently it does!

1st Roller Derby Bout
Last weekend I went and watched the Camel City Thrashers skate. It was a lot of fun! I (i'm in the middle) was there with my sister in law Anna, to the right, and her friend Kaffy, to the left. Anna's Dad and StepMom, Ilsa, came too. It was a lot of fun! I think Anna's dad really enjoyed watching the big girls...but I can't blame him being a fat bottom girl myself! My favorite skater is Mia Meanie. She really stood up to her name...and spent a lot of time in the penalty box! OH YEEYA! I completely forgot to take my camera so I don't have any awesome derby pics :( These pictures were taken with Ilsa's phone so the fast skaters came out blurry. Next time I'll be sure not to forget my camera!

Lots of Drawing at the Burlington Carousel Festival
One good thing about a slow festival is that it gives me plenty of time to draw!
This is the antiques tent across from mine. Plus a gun at the bottom that I was going to use to put myself out of my misery it was so hot!
These were all inspired by people walking by
Jenny in purple and one of the vendors across from us.
There was lots of doggies
Mucha left, Brian at the top, Anna right, Me bottom right, Faith bottom left
This one is from Brian's weightlifting competition from the weekend before.
The drive to the competition
People at the competition and the lightbulb! that stinkin' lightbulb. There are 3 judges and each has a light bulb. If they hit the red bulb it means the lift doesn't count, if the white bulb then its good. I was about blind by the end ( i was sitting right behind it)

Workshop with Susan Sarback
This is the first stage of the painting that I started today in Color workshop with Susan Sarback. Its really ugly huh?
This is the same painting in stage 3. I forgot to take a picture of stage 3 so you missed the "fun" part. (it wasn't fun, ha ha) I'll have to take close up soon, I forgot and the painting is still at class.
By the way the easel is another hook up from my awesome father-in-law. It is a cheap tabletop easel that I got for $5 at a yard sale and Rich attached a bottom panel and then put an adaptor on it so that it would fit on my tripod!
Stay tuned for new work later this week!

Lickity Lu Lu Tattoo
My brother in law asked me to draw his pug so that he could get her tattooed on his chest! So here she is in all her glory! You'll have to ignore all the little black spots I didn't realize my pen was bleeding through when I was drawing on another piece of paper. Just curious would you get a doggy tattoo?

Skating injury and Drunk People!
I figured I would give you two painful things at once, a bunch of drunks hitting the floor and the results of me sober hitting the parking lot! The picture is from a couple of weeks ago. I went skating and scraped my knee, its been a long time since I've had a scraped knee! I found out that day I could do a split.....which is how I scraped the inside of my knee! ha ha!
