Sniffle Sniffle, my week is almost over

I'm still at my painting workshop with Susan Sarback but tomorrow is my last day.  It went way to quickly!  I finished one today and started a new one.  Hopefully I'll have enough time to finish it tomorrow.

Lots of Drawing at the Burlington Carousel Festival

One good thing about a slow festival is that it gives me plenty of time to draw!

This is the antiques tent across from mine.  Plus a gun at the bottom that I was going to use to put myself out of my misery it was so hot!

These were all inspired by people walking by

Jenny in purple and one of the vendors across from us.

There was lots of doggies

Mucha left, Brian at the top, Anna right, Me bottom right, Faith bottom left

This one is from Brian's weightlifting competition from the weekend before.

The drive to the competition

People at the competition and the lightbulb!  that stinkin' lightbulb.  There are 3 judges and each has a light bulb.  If they hit the red bulb it means the lift doesn't count, if the white bulb then its good.  I was about blind by the end ( i was sitting right behind it)

Workshop with Susan Sarback

This is the first stage of the painting that I started today in Color workshop with Susan Sarback.  Its really ugly huh?

This is the same painting in stage 3.  I forgot to take a picture of stage 3 so you missed the "fun" part.  (it wasn't fun, ha ha)  I'll have to take close up soon, I forgot and the painting is still at class.

By the way the easel is another hook up from my awesome father-in-law.  It is a cheap tabletop easel that I got for $5 at a yard sale and Rich attached a bottom panel and then put an adaptor on it so that it would fit on my tripod!
Stay tuned for new work later this week!

Lickity Lu Lu Tattoo

My brother in law asked me to draw his pug so that he could get her tattooed on his chest!  So here she is in all her glory!  You'll have to ignore all the little black spots I didn't realize my pen was bleeding through when I was drawing on another piece of paper.  Just curious would you get a doggy tattoo?

Skating injury and Drunk People!

I figured I would give you two painful things at once, a bunch of drunks hitting the floor and the results of me sober hitting the parking lot!  The picture is from a couple of weeks ago.  I went skating and scraped my knee, its been a long time since I've had a scraped knee!  I found out that day I could do a split.....which is how I scraped the inside of my knee! ha ha!
